personality
Arkwright is an eccentric fellow; he goes about things in a bit more of an odd way than most would, but he certainly doesn't mind. He's intelligent and quite creative, the complex interworkings of mechaniks coming naturally to him. He loves fantasizing about the great designs mechaniks could one day be; vast airships that could perhaps go farther than Eterna's skies or giant machines of war. The thought of these magnificent inventions that haven't been created yet never fails to send him into a position of awe. He is also quite curious, which can make him seem almost nosy to some. His previous occupation was that in the career field of journalism, so it isn't quite odd he would need to be a curious character. He loves finding out how things work; what makes them tick, sometimes quite literally, whether they be living flesh or living metal. All is fair game.
He is also a bit of a workaholic, enjoying to work into the wee hours of the morning and it is not uncommon that he will fall asleep at his workbench or desk, a little mechanikal bird flying about his room or a clockwork mouse scurrying across the folders and papers in his workspace. He's incredibly friendly to all, animals and mechaniks alike. Arkwright is pretty easy to get along with, and he almost prides himself on the fact. He loves getting to know other people. On the other hand, Arkwright can appear to seem even a little manipulative to some; something, one may think, that might be left over from the reporter career. Because he listens well, it isn't uncommon that he is able to find something that can be used as blackmail. He regards blackmail with relative normality, though, as if it isn't something that is highly frowned upon. |
